The Beginning of Our Journey<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our story begins almost by chance, on an ordinary day in 2014. My husband and I, driving around, found ourselves in the small village of Salea, a place that immediately enchanted us with its authentic and silent beauty.<\/p>

A few days later we discovered that, right behind the church of San Giacomo Maggiore, there was uncultivated land for sale. It had been abandoned for years, but we fell in love with those stones, the dry stone walls and the strength of that red, clayey earth. So, without hesitating too much, we decided to start a new chapter of our lives.<\/p>

We purchased the first plots and, with patience and dedication, brought the land back to life and restored the dry stone walls one by one. It was hard work, made of hands dirty with earth and lots of passion, but also of smiles and dreams shared as a family.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A Life Choice, Not Just a Job<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Today I Massi Farm is the result of all our efforts: Pio, Luca and Charlotte. Each one, in their own way, contributes to growing this reality, which is not just a job, but a life choice.<\/p>

We cultivate the land in full respect of nature, without using chemical products. Our entire farm is organic: from the vineyards to the olive trees, from the vegetable garden to the fruit. We fertilize with natural methods, give back to the soil what we take and care for each plant with respect and patience.<\/p>

Our vineyards and olive groves rise on difficult terrain, rich in stones, fossils and iron oxides, but it is precisely this complexity that gives character to our products. From here comes the Pigato DOC of Albenga and our extra virgin olive oil from Taggiasca monocultivar, obtained from a centuries-old olive grove that we recovered and replanted with love.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Among the Stones, the Roots of Our Story<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The name “I Massi” tells precisely this story: that of hard but generous terrain, made of stones and walls that remind us every day of the effort and beauty of our work. At the entrance to the farm, a large stone watches over us and our vineyards, symbol of the strength and resistance of this land.<\/p>

Since 2023 we have been part of “Heroic Viticulture”: our vineyards, difficult to reach and cultivate, require constant manual work, but give us wines that speak of authenticity, resilience and love for the territory.<\/p>

This is our story: simple, authentic, made of family, tradition and respect for nature. A story that grows, together with our vines and olive trees, among the red stones of Salea.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
